Despite not being part of the original cast of Bravo's , Hannah Berner has managed to become a fan favorite over the years. Hannah first appeared in season 3 as a new arrival. However, it was last year's season 4 (and her relationship with Luke Gulbranson) that made people pay closer attention. Hannah met her current fiancé, comedian Des Bishop, through Instagram. The pair began dating sometime last summer. They started seeing each other before season 5 began filming, and  Fans believe Des quarantined at the house while Hannah filmed, and they eventually confirmed their relationship in September. "He DMs me and he’s very straightforward. He had been following me and I was in his feed. If I didn’t scare him off with all my stupid TikToks during quarantine, then that was a win," Hannah said in an October interview with the  podcast. Apparently, they had met five years prior, but Hannah didn't think things could work because he lived in Ireland.

Des and Hannah got engaged on Valentine's Day of this year and are still very happy together. Currently, Hannah's drama arc on Summer House revolves around new housemate Ciara Miller. Ciara was introduced as a "friend" of Hannah's ex-boyfriend Luke, leading to some tense moments so far. Newbie . Season 5 will likely bring viewers into Hannah's current relationship status later on.
